For the last 20 years, seniors living at Oakwood Village University Woods in Madison have enjoyed on-site dental care, provided by Dr. Russell Grimm, and the team at Associated Dentists. Recently, we’ve been informed by Oakwood Village, our clinic is closing.
The senior living facility on Mineral Point Road closed our on-site dental clinic Feb. 28. Though our clinic is closed, existing, and new patients have the opportunity to receive high-quality dental care at Associated Dentists’ office at 749 University Row, just two miles away.
“It has been a pleasure to work with the residents of Oakwood Village right on campus over the past two decades,” said Dr. Russell Grimm, “While we are disappointed that the retirement home has made the decision to close our on-site clinic, we remain committed to improving oral health in seniors across the Dane County region, including our patients from Oakwood.”
Associated Dentists will maintain patient records, and status, so patients can continue receiving the dental care they need without interruption.
Advancing age can put older individuals at risk for several oral health issues, including root decay, gum disease, tooth loss, and denture-induced stomatitis or tissue inflammation. It’s important for people of any age to visit the dentist every six months to maintain a healthy smile.
Associated Dentists in Madison provides sensible, conservative treatment, comfortable treatment rooms, and amenities like WiFi and music.
